Our proposed plan for 2009-2011
The foundation has adopted Ajidagan Primary School and Gbagada Junior High School. Our aim is to turn around the deteriorating situation in these two schools.
Our plans are as follows:
Ajidagan Primary School
Reconstruction of 2 blocks of 16 classrooms for 126 pupilsReconstruction of 1 block of 4 rooms for library, teachers, and Principal.
- Reconstruction of 1 block of 4 toilets for students and teachers.
- Reconstruction of 1 block of 2 rooms cafeteria.
- Fencing of the entire compound.
- Recreation of the play ground/sports materials.
- Provision of borehole and water tanks.
- Provision of furniture for teachers and all students.
- Provision of reading and writing materials.
- Computer science labs
- Standard teacher training
Gbagada Junior High School
- Reconstruction of 4 blocks of 32 classrooms for 3,150 students
- Reconstruction of 2 blocks of 10 rooms for library, teachers and the Principal.
- Reconstruction of 2 blocks of 6 toilets for students and teachers.
- Renovation of 1 block of 3 rooms cafeteria.
- Provision of furniture for all teachers and all students.
- Provision of school materials.
- Drainage system/Borehole.
- Computer lab/Equipment/Generator
- Teacher training
- Student mentoring and coaching
- Science labs
Over the next three years, we will also be constructing and establishing computer labs/centers at 50 other secondary schools in Lagos State. Each computer center at each school will be fully equipped with internet connection, 10 computers, 1 printer, 10 UPS, 1scanner, 2hp split air conditioners, tables and chairs per location.
