Lydia Grace Foundation

Another form of exploitation that is also affecting Nigeria, is child prostitution. Girls as young as 12 years old have been thrown into the sex trade either from kidnapping, abandonment or having been given out by their families to earn money. Destitute girls are sometimes taken in by their relatives and then sold into prostitution for money.
Women and girls who entered prostitution either by force or through the dusty roads of poverty and who endure related suffering can be rehabilitated, through the Lydia Grace Foundation.
VISION:
To combat the evil of prostitution in our society, end the crippling effects of destitution and homelessness by empowering such girls and women to achieve their highest potentials in life.
MISSION: Redirecting Lives
1. The foundation through its counseling and reconciliation programmes, educational initiatives, work training programmes and job opportunity initiatives will assist prostitutes and destitute girls, to leave the sex trade and also assist them in solving problems associated with their well being.
2. The foundation will act as the voice for the oppressed, conduct seminars, teaching and public discussion that will direct attention to the plight of these women and the sex trade.
