Acts 29 (Drama Troupe)

This is an evangelical department that ministers to people through drama. Drama is used as a powerful tool to give people an understanding of the Bible and the things of God as they relate to everyday life.

To simplify the Church responsibilites to both the members and the community, ChristChurch has over 30 departments that see to day-to-day activities of the Church. Here our Head of departments are very friendly and are serving the the Lord with their strength.

Baptismal Class
This department handles the teaching of born again Christians who want to be baptized. They teach the fundamentals of our faith and the doctrines of the RCCG.

Bookshop
This department makes Christian books and audio tapes and CDs available to the church. They also enlighten the church on what books and music CDs and tapes are available for the edification of the church.

Breakfast fellowship
This department holds regular breakfast meetings in Christ Church.

Care Clinic

Children's Church
This department oversees the spiritual development of children in Christ Church. It handles the children from age 0 to age 12.

Crusade Committee

Deliverance
This is the advanced prayer department of the church. They organise deliverance sessions for people in need of deliverance.

Environmental
This department is in charge of the beautification of the church and its surroundings. They make the physical environment conducive for both worshippers and the Holy Spirit.

Evangelism
This department organises crusades, care clinics etc. for the purpose of spreading the Gospel and growing the church.
Prisons:
The prison ministry ministers to prisoners and encourages them as a tool of evangelism. Also, through this ministry, some prisoners are brought in contact with their families. Those who have been wrongfully jailed can be helped to regain their freedom.

Faith Clinic
This department coordinates the weekly Faith Clinic service that holds every Thursday in Christ Church.

Finance Department
These are the keepers of the church finances. This department oversees the finances of the church. They prepare monthly, biannual and annual accounts of the church.

Harvest House
This department handles the teaching and spiritual development of the teenagers in Christ Church.

Holy Police
This is the first point of contact for anyone coming to the church. Their primary objective is to ensure that members are well parked and well received when they arrive in church. They ensure that there is free flow of traffic and ensure that all vehicles are safe before, during and after service.

Hospital Ministry:
This unit ministers to they sick people. The minister to their physical and spiritual needs. They go to hospitals and help patients who can not afford to pay their hospital bills. They use this as a means of evangelism. Drama department: This is an evangelical department that ministers to people through drama. House Fellowship
This department coordinates the affairs of the house fellowship centres in Christ Church. The house fellowship is a basic unit of congregation that meets in a member’s house. As a member of the house fellowship department, one would be responsible for coordinating the affairs of the house fellowship cell and ensuring that the spiritual and material needs of the members are met and that members are well looked after and are carried along in the affairs of the church.

Information
They collect and share announcements to be shared with the Church either during service or via other means to ensure that the church is well informed of activities and happenings both inside and outside the church that affect the church.

Integrity Network
This unit focuses on the building up of single young adults. They are responsible for organising seminars, prayer meetings and social activities based on the Word of God for the development of youths in church.

Maintenance
All church properties are kept in the care of this department. They ensure that all these properties such as chairs, tables, fans, generators, water clossets, television sets etc. are in proper working state and are well taken care of.

Marriage Affairs
This department provides marriage counseling and helps coordinate weddings held in Christ Church.

Membership
This unit maintains a database of the church members and collects basic information about the congregation. The membership department also organizes vision-enhancing meetings on a regular basis during which members are informed about developments in church. Other activities include organising and/or attending social activities such as birthdays, weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies of church members.

Mens' Ministry
This unit builds men and its purpose is to help men live purposeful lives in all godliness and holiness. It is a ministry that seeks to reach out to people both inside and outside the church, sharing experiences and praying together.

Mission
This department handles the establishment of new parishes in Christ Church

Music
This unit comprises of the choir (Sound of many waters) and the instrumentalists (Censers of Gold). They are responsible for singing and leading worship in church. They also minister at special functions such as weddings and birthday parties of believers known to the church.

New Believers’ Class
This department teaches converts about the rudiments of the Christian faith with the aim of ensuring that converts are established in the Christian faith and never backslide.

Publications
This department handles the publication of the Christ Church bulletin and other such ministry materials.

Prayer Line
This department prays continuously for Christ Church and stands in the gap always for the church. They pray for every service, every member, every minister, every activity etc. of the church.

Sunday School
They build up the members of the Church spiritually using the Word of God. They utilize the Sunday School manual written by the church to impart spiritual knowledge.

Transformation Evangelism Ministry
This is what the Transformation Evangelism Ministry does ……….

We give love to those communities of Nigeria that are in need and thereby help to transform lives. “Dear Children, Let us stop just saying we love each other, Let Us Really Show It By Our Action.”(1 john 3:18 –Life application)

Ushering
The ushers are generally in charge of maintaining law and order in the church. They welcome people into church and they help ensure that members of the congregation are well seated and comfortable. They ensure that there is peace and calm during the service. They collect and count offerings and assist members of the congregation that need help amongst other duties.

Welcome and Hospitality

They welcome first timers in the church and ensure that they are well received. They also keep records of the first timers.

Welfare
This unit helps the less privileged members of the church by empowering them. For example, They assist members of the church in acquiring skills in a chosen trade or profession in order to earn a living. They also give loans to members of the church to start businesses. In addition, they visit orphanages to help the less privileged in society.

Workers Directorate
This department handles the affairs of workers in Christ Church. This department oversees the coordination and welfare of workers in church.

Women's Ministry
This department handles the affairs of women in Christ Church. It helps to oversee the welfare and spiritual well-being of women in church.

Workers Training
This department handles the training of new workers in Christ church.
