MERITS OF THE PROGRAMME
1. There has been a better and improved participation in Church activities and by extension a better social interaction among the children that attended previous meeting
2. The session has revealed that children habour some misconceived ideas and sometimes misguided views about some life issues, which we help to straighten out, and hopefully put them on the right path.
3. The aftermath of attending this programme reveals that teens are more open and relaxed and discuss their personal issues and challenges confidently which otherwise they would have kept to themselves.
4. Teens are also more open to seek for help and advice from the teachers though they are encouraged to see their parents as the first point of contact..
5. Above all, the session has helped to breakdown the barriers of being intimidated to participate in Church activities as children become more willing and responsive to minister when called upon.
CONCLUSION
Without doubt, this programme has been quite helpful in breaking down barriers and getting closer to the Children. We therefore ask our parents consent to please facilitate and encourage their children to attend this programme when they are nominated except in situations where school commitments or family matters will otherwise prevent them from attending the meetings.
